What we accomplished in 2007 - Completed renovation of the building in October, 2007 - Administered services from Centro San Juan Diego to almost 16,400 persons during 2007 (without considering the people using the facility for events, workshops or retreats) - Held 36 Community events, workshops or retreats in 2007 The challenge Now that the renovation is completed, we have a place to provide the services needed to integrate the Hispanic community into Church and community—a place not only adequate, but also beautiful and uplifting. The challenge now is twofold: first, to creatively serve the Hispanic community, that that community may grow in leadership and become a greater asset to American society as a whole; and second, to obtain funding for the services we offer and for the maintenance of our building in its historic integrity.
