Our Mission
Founded in 2003 by Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M.,
Cap., the mission of Centro San Juan Diego, the Hispanic
institute for family and pastoral care, is to empower
Hispanics in the Archdiocese of Denver through education, so
they become faithful and integrated leaders in the Catholic
Church and in the society.
The mission of Centro San Juan Diego is
accomplished through two main venues,
Pastoral
Services and
Family Services.

What we accomplished in 2007
- Completed renovation of the building in October, 2007
- Administered services from Centro San Juan Diego to almost 16,400
persons during 2007 (without considering the people using the
facility for events, workshops or retreats)
- Held 36 Community events, workshops or retreats in 2007
The challenge
Now that the renovation is completed, we have a place to provide the
services needed to integrate the Hispanic community into Church and
community—a place not only adequate, but also beautiful and
uplifting.
The challenge now is twofold: first, to creatively serve the
Hispanic community, that that community may grow in leadership and
become a greater asset to American society as a whole; and second,
to obtain funding for the services we offer and for the maintenance
of our building in its historic integrity.
Thank you for thinking of Centro San
Juan Diego as a recipient of your donations.
